“If you always do what is easy and choose the path of least resistance, you never step outside your comfort zone. Great things don’t come from comfort zones.” ― Roy Bennett
We love great quotes and we feel inspired in our testing approaches when we find one of great value. That is why, this year’s conference theme is: Testing at the threshold.
The software industry is on the edge of exciting and revolutionary progress. More than ever, the role, activities and involvement of testing reflects this. Testers and quality are becoming yet more integrated into processes. We’re shifting left and right. We’re working with technology in its infancy that will have effects on our society, privacy and ethics. On the one hand, the world is becoming more technical. On the other hand, overarching test strategy, communication, and requirement analysis are unlikely to be automated away or replaced with tools and technology.
We’re standing on the threshold to a new and exciting future. It’s up to us to develop ourselves and to decide where we are willing to push boundaries, and where we are willing to let external factors influence our work. These are exciting times – and we want the submissions for Romanian Testing Conference 2018 to reflect that. We’re looking for proposals that deal with our work at these thresholds and on overcoming the limitations that we set ourselves. You can chose from a large variaty of topics:
|Alex is the head of Software Quality and Test Consulting at BREDEX GmbH. Her passion is communicating with people in IT projects, most specifically about quality.
She works with customers, testers and developers to help them improve quality in their projects and processes. You’ll usually find Alex talking about quality and how it affects the whole development process. She’s also a frequent speaker at conferences where she likes to share her project experiences and learn from other practitioners.
You can find out more about Alex, from the interview she took for for RTC2017.
Remember the feeling of watching a talk at a conference and thinking: “I have done something great and revolutionary, too!” or “Hmmm, I would have done that differently”, ooor “I wonder how it feels like when a room full of people clap at the end of your own talk…” Well, you don’t have to wonder anymore, because you now have the chance to experience it yourself!
We invite you to join us for Romanian Testing Conference 2018, by sharing your experience and thoughts related to this year’s theme “Testing at the threshold“. We appreciate proposals from every area of software testing, based on personal experience.
We are looking into submissions for all 3 types of sessions:
