You know that feeling when you realise you’re going to have to clone yourself? That is exactly how I’m feeling when I look at the awesome program we’ve put together for Romanian Testing Conference.

When I got asked to be the program chair for this year’s conference, I was excited that I’d be able to get a wish list of awesome keynote speakers together – check!

Then I got excited about the theme and hoped for amazing submissions – check!

And now, looking at the 3 days program, I’m practically counting the days to May when I can finally see some of these amazing talks. workshops and tutorials.

The theme of the conference is “Testing at the threshold”. I hope you’ll agree when you look at the talks on the Friday – we’re going to be hearing about some pretty amazing topics. We’ve got virtual reality, ethics (a current favorite topic of mine), meta cognition (I don’t even know what this is, but I have to find out!) – and a whole lot more.

If you look at the tutorials, you’ll be forgiven for not knowing where to go for all of the great choices.

We’ve got a lot about automation, sure, but there are also tutorials on test strategy, exploring and security.

When I wrote the text for the theme, I had to be careful not to let some of the natural fear of the unknown leak in. What is the future going to bring for testing? What threshold(s) are we at? Looking at the line up and the topics, I feel confident that we as a community are well prepared – join us in May to equip yourself for future challenges and to meet some of the great minds who will tread the path with us.
